Feeding recommendation

Due to the higher content of vitamin D3 and trace elements compared to complete feed, this supplementary feed may only be fed with up to 42 g / 100 kg body weight. The feeding recommendation refers to a roughage intake (hay) of 1,5 kg per 100 kg body weight and day.

Depending on the performance requirements, we recommend a daily dose of 25 g to 42 g per 100 kg body weight. For a large horse, this corresponds to a dose of approx. 150 g - 250 g per animal and day.

For which horses is the Ruppiner Mineral Pellet suitable?

Ruppiner Mineral-Pellet is suitable for all horses that cannot cover their needs with the daily feed ration. The pellet form can lead to improved absorption of the mineral feed.

What are the effects of a mineral deficiency?

A deficiency affects the horse's skin, hooves, hair and metabolism. It can therefore manifest itself, for example, in a dull coat, brittle hooves or a reduction in performance.

How much Ruppiner Mineral Pellet can I give my horse?
