Goats

Goat mineral - for a balanced supply of minerals

Goats are gourmets and they choose their food. The basic diet for goats should be hay or straw. They also like to eat leaves, bark or brushwood. But even for these small ruminants, a balanced supply of minerals is imperative. A part can be covered by the basic feed ration, but in order to fully cover the need for minerals and trace elements, the additional administration of mineral feed is necessary. A deficiency can lead to long-term bone and horn damage and milk fever. It can also contribute to a healthy metabolism and thus support the goats' immune system.

NOTE: There are occasions when mineral mixes or stones are not accepted. The main causes are the taste or dirty salt licks or bowls. The mixture should then be replaced so that deficiency symptoms cannot develop in the first place.
