Natural support for digestion and cleansing of the gastrointestinal tract

Flea seed husks are a natural product and are ideal for supporting the digestive system in horses. They have a high mucus formation and swelling capacity and can thus support the functions of the gastrointestinal tract. They are also very rich in fiber and promote the development of intestinal-friendly bacteria. These fibers swell up in the horse's intestines and stimulate digestion there. Another big advantage is the increased formation of mucilage. These protect the intestinal mucosa and can help to bind and excrete sand and other harmful parts.

BENEFITS:

  • Purely natural product
  • Has a positive effect on digestion and intestinal flora
  • Can help to bind and eliminate sand deposits

Composition

100% psyllium husk

Feeding recommendation

When feeding psyllium husks, care should be taken to ensure that the horse has sufficient water available. To ensure this, the psyllium husks can be soaked and fed as a mash.

We recommend a feeding of 5 - 10 g per 100 kg body weight:

  • Pony / small horse 300 kg: 15-30 g
  • Large horse 600 kg: 30-60 g

If the shells are fed dry, the amount should be reduced to avoid the risk of obstruction of the throat.
