Linseed oil
Supports skin and coat metabolism as well as digestion
Our linseed oil is a cold-pressed oil that is ideal for horse feeding. The cold pressing preserves the various accompanying substances in the oil. The linseed oil is a purely natural product with positive effects on the skin and coat metabolism. Due to its high content of omega-3 fatty acids, it can compensate for the often too high omega-6 ratio in the ration. Omega-3 fatty acids also promote a shiny coat and healthy muscles. Just 50 ml a day is enough to support a balanced diet for the horse and to be able to use the positive properties of the oil.
BENEFITS:
- Rich in omega - 3 fatty acids
- Supports digestion
- Promotes skin and coat metabolism
How much linseed oil should I give my horse?
Linseed oil can be fed to horses of all ages. We recommend the administration of at least 8 ml per 100 kg body weight per day. For a large horse weighing 600 kg, this corresponds to approx. 50 ml per day. With slow habituation, a higher dosage can be made.
What can linseed oil do?
Linseed oil can improve coat structure, promote digestion, provide energy and ensure healthy muscles. The omega-3 fatty acids can have an anti-inflammatory effect and positively support the metabolism in the joints, the airways and the skin.
Is linseed oil considered doping?
No, linseed oil is ADMR-compliant and therefore not doping.
