Ruppiner Mineral - Sticks
Wholesome mineral feed in practical treat form
Our Ruppiner Mineral Sticks are a high-quality, complete mineral feed for the daily supply of minerals. The practical treat form allows feeding from the hand. Ruppiner Mineral Sticks are therefore ideal for horses kept in pastures or horses that do not receive any additional concentrated feed. The minerals, vitamins and trace elements contained are vital nutrients that are an important building block for almost all functions in the body and ensure their smooth functioning. The mineral supply also has a great influence on the horse's skin, hooves, hair, metabolism and cell protection. Ruppiner Mineral Sticks guarantee an optimal supply of minerals for the horse due to their balanced ratio.
BENEFITS:
- Grain-free
- Suitable for horses of all types of use
- Complete mineralisation and vitaminisation
- Complementary to pure hay rations, but also for nutrient balancing in grain feeding
For which horses are Ruppiner Mineral Sticks suitable?
Ruppiner Mineral Sticks are suitable for all horses that cannot cover their requirements with their daily feed ration. The practical treat form allows feeding from the hand and fits in every trouser pocket as a healthy reward. This makes our mineral sticks particularly suitable for horses kept on pasture or horses that do not receive any additional concentrated feed.
What effects can a mineral deficiency have?
A deficiency affects the horse's skin, hooves, hair and metabolism. It can therefore manifest itself, for example, in a dull coat, brittle hooves or a reduction in performance.
How many Ruppiner Mineral Sticks can I give my horse?
This supplementary feed may only be fed to horses with up to 10 g per 100 kg body weight per day due to the higher content of vitamin D3 and trace elements compared to complete feed. Our feeding recommendation is based on a roughage intake (hay) of 1.5 kg per 100 kg body weight per day.
Depending on the size, a stick weighs 5 - 10 g. We recommend a daily dose of 10 g per 100 kg body weight. For a large horse, this corresponds to a dose of approx. 60 g per animal per day.
